Completed order expires after a certain amount of time has passed. A completed order cannot be modified via completed order actions after it has expired.
A completed order's expiry time depends on its order type, refund status, and contents.
A completed standard order will expire when:
- The order has been fully refunded, or
- The latest showtime has ended, or
- 12 hours have passed since all food and beverage items were collected, or
- A configurable amount of time has passed since the order was completed.
Completed child orders inherit the expiry time of the linked parent order.
Completed gift shop orders expire immediately upon completion as you cannot perform any completed order actions (e.g., self-service refunds) on a gift store order.
Completed subscription orders expire immediately upon completion as you cannot perform any completed order actions (e.g., self-service refunds) on a subscription order.
