A recurring subscription may be cancelled after it's minimum contracted term has ended. A cancelled subscription will end after the current billing period.
Cancelling a recurring subscription will prevent the member from purchasing a future subscription until after their current subscription ends.
A member with a recurring subscription is eligible to cancel their subscription after it's minimum contracted term has ended. Check the isCancellationAllowed property of the member's subscriptions to determine if a subscription can be cancelled.
A subscription cannot be cancelled if:
- It is a non-recurring subscription.
- Its minimum contracted term hasn't ended.
- A future subscription has been purchased.
- It is currently
OnHoldor has an upcoming hold period. - It has already been scheduled for cancellation (refer to the
cancelsAtproperty).
Use the CancelSubscription endpoint to cancel the authenticated member's active subscription.
Cancelling a recurring subscription will not result in an automatic refund of the current billing period. It will, however, prevent any further recurring billing payments.
